By accepting these terms and conditions I give permission to the Union to use, store and manage data provided on this form in accordance with the laws regarding my volunteer status.
Data management is in accordance with the user’s voluntary statement. This statement is based on adequate information and can be found on www.ahu.hu (referred to as „the Website” from now on). It also contains the user’s permission to use their personal information.
According to the law 2011/CXII. regarding information autonomy and freedom of information the claim of the data management is the volunteer’s permission. The permission regarding individual data management is given on using the Website, filling out the registration form (registering) and by voluntarily providing the data in question.
We use the data we collect to provide the information regarding our humanitarian goals published on our website. The African Hungarian Union (referred to as „AHU” from now on) is only using the information provided by the volunteer for other voluntary work, delegations and to reach its goals. If the user is subscribed to the newsletter, then their data are stored to send the letters and to later verify the conditions of a potential contract.
The volunteer gives AHU permission to store their personal information in AHU’s (seat 1025 Budapest Őzgida utca 17/1) database. These data may later be used with no reimbursement or authorization until the arrival of a potential declaration of prohibition. The data will be used for AHU’S own goals, mainly in accordance with its humanitarian work or to provide information about its missions and work via post, email, letters or phone. AHU is handling the personal data, in accordance with the aforementioned 2011 CXII. Law, and other applicable laws.
AHU doesn’t give out personal information to a third party without the user’s permission based on adequate information. Postulation of a data management registry number is in progress. The volunteer user’s personal information is immediately deleted when the purpose of the data management is terminated or upon a deletion request. Providing data is voluntary. The volunteer user may request AHU to correct or delete their personal data without the need to provide justification at any time at 1025 Budapest, Őzgida utca 17/1 or via the following e-mail address: ozs@ahu.hu
The duration of data management is five (5) years from the termination of the website’s usability (especially from the deletion the Registration), since after the termination of the website this is the legal time period where civil action may be taken by the data manager (AHU) or a third party regarding the user or their actions. This way AHU ensures that the user’s identity is traceable and that AHU can enforce their own or a third party’s legal claims on the user.
AHU ensures the security of data it stores and it also takes the necessary technical steps to protect its users from unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of information it holds.
AHU reserves the right to unilaterally change these terms of conditions after notifying its users in advance. After the changes take effect the user accepts the new terms of conditions by using the website and by tacit behaviour.
