Afrikai Napok a Vasarcsarnokban 2016 junius 5As it has been doing for years, a three-day series of events titled "African Days" was held at the Vasarcsarnok, which is meant to show the a diverse world of the continent and the exciting culture. The event lasted from June 21 to 23 with a guest of honor from Madagascar.

The event was opened by Randrianasolo Lalarison Richard, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Madagascar, and then he personally signed the guide book dedicated to the island country. Many exhibitors were present at the event, including the African-Hungarian Union (AHU) with handmade products, African-themed books and newspapers waiting for the visitors. In addition, the Madagascar booth had minerals, while the African Tailoring had clothes and jewelry and at the booth of KultúrAfrika Foundation you could buy books and photos. In the afternoon, the visitors could get to know the history and geology of Madagascar.

One of the main sponsor of the event was the African-Hungarian Union.
