DSC 0520 resizeWe were invited to EFOTT, the biggest meeting of university students, to help them learn about the African continent, and AHU's work. Thus, during the previous week, from July 13 to 16 we welcomed visitors with a variety of programs at the civil sector.

Our week at EFOTT started with a bang on Wednesday with several African performers on the stage. A highly successful roundtable discussion was held by Bebe, Kembe Sorel, Gaby and Morimo about how people of African descent live in Hungary. The Serengeti Troupe  and the Cameroonian dancers created a great atmosphere and got the auidence on their feet dancing.

In addition, we had a stand at the Civil tent where visitors could test whether their knowledge of Africa and were eligible to volunteer for our Company. Fortunately, many were intrested, that we will contact in the future.

Because of the variability of the weather, we had to cancel our program on Saturday, the BLS (Basic Life Support) training, but nevertheless we got a lot of new experiences and I hope our visitors did too.

We would like to thank the organizers of EFOTT for the opportunity and for being able to show off the African-Hungarian Union.
